Inaasahang tatanggap ang bansa ng 1.695 milyong doses ng bakuna kabilang na ang paunang supply ng Sputnik V ngayon buwan, ayon sa Palasyo.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, ang mga bakunang parating sa bansa ay mula sa Sinovac, Gamaleya Research Institute, at Pfizer.

Paparating na rin sa bansa ngayong Huwebes, Abril 22, ang biniling 500,000 doses ng CoronaVac vaccine mula sa Sinovac gayundin ang unang batch ng 20,000 vaccines mula sa Sputnik V.

Sa Abril 29 naman inaasahang darating ang kalahating milyong doses ng Sinovac sa bansa gayundin ang pangalawang batch ng Sputnik V vaccine na aabot ng 480,000 doses.

Dagdag din niya, parating din sa katapusan ng Abril ang 195,000 doses ng Pfizer vaccine at malaki rin umano ang posibilidad na makatanggap muli ng AstraZeneca vaccine ang bansa mula sa COVAX facility.

Sa kasalukuyan, nakatanggap na ang bansa ng aabot sa tatlong milyong doses ng bakuna kabilang na ang biniling 1.5 milyong doses ng bakuna mula sa Sinovac. Dahil dito, aabot na sa 1.2 milyong Pilipino ang nabigyan na ng bakuna sa ilalim ng vaccination program ng gobyerno.
