Nailigtas mula sa nagngangalit na dagat sa Puerto Princesa ang 13 kataong lulan ng isang motorized indigenous boat matapos masiraan ng makina nitong Enero 3 bandang 8:00 p.m.

Rumesponde ang patrol boat ng Philippine National Police Maritime Group’s 2nd Special Operations Unit sa 13 katao, kung saan 12 ay turista, na lulan ng bangka sa coastal waters ng Brgy. Manalo at Brgy. Maruguyon, Puerto Princesa.

Galing ang nasabing bangka sa Isla Puting Buhangin sa Brgy. Manalo nang masiraan sa gitna ng dagat habang patuloy ang paglakas ng ulan ng kinagabihan.

Nailigtas ang pahinanteng si Joemar Mueden kasama ang 12 turista na sina Rolando Sta. Maria, Phil Mesaje, Paul Castillo, Joy Villarias, Christian Zamora, Regie Camama, Ambrocio Alolod Jr., Renalyn Monleon, Maricar Monleon, Raymond Evangelista, Ricky Doronila, at Joana Mueden sa naganap na rescue operation.

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
