2 CHINESE CLAIMANTS NG P1.B SHABU TIMBOG SA CABANATUAN

Dalawang Chinese claimants ng nagkakahalagang PhP1.632 bilyong shabu ang nadakip sa joint operation ng Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group sa Cabanatuan City bandang 11:30 p.m. noong Oktubre 30.

Ang cargo na idineklarang “work bench tables” ay ipinadala ng isang Ywlee 87 Trading mula Subang Jaya Selangor, Malaysia na naka-consign sa isang Allejam International Trading sa Maynila. Dumating ang kargado sa PAL PSI Warehouse noong Oktubre 24.

Matapos makumpirma na shabu ang 240 plastic packs sa X-ray scanning at 100% physical examination, sinundan na ito ng controlled delivery operations ng naturang composite team.

Sa kasalukuyan ay nasa PDEA na ang iligal na droga para sa nararapat na profiling at case build-up laban sa importers at iba pang responsible persons pati inquest ng claimants dahil sa paglabag sa Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at Sec. 1401 ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
