2 SA 3 KONTRATA NG MARAWI TRANSCENTRAL ROAD, TAPOS NA MARAWI ECONOMIC RECOVERY, INAASAHAN SA P970-M PROYEKTO

Inanunsyo ng DPWH nitong Marso 12 ang pagtatapos ng dalawa sa tatlong kontrata na nagsesemento sa 18.97 km Marawi Transcentral Road na inaasahang tutulong sa pagbawi ng ekonomiya ng naturang lungsod matapos ang 2017 Marawi siege.

Nasa kabuuang 10.56 km na ng daan ang nasementuhan.

Ginawa ng Al Hussein Construction/N.B. Salbo Construction na isang joint venture ang 5.45 km sa unang kontrata kung saan kabilang ang Bacong-Poona-Marantao-Marawi Road, GMA Terminal Access, Marawi-Cadre-New Capitol, Marcos Boulevard, at Idarus Road Section. 

Kinumpleto naman ng Kouzbary Builders ang 4.11 km major road works sa MSU-GMA Road at Lumindong-Amaipakpak Avenue sa ilalim ng pangalawang kontrata na noo’y kinakailangang ayusin dahil sa bigat ng trapikong dala ng lumalaking populasyon.

Nasa 74 porsiyento naman na ang nagagawa sa natitirang 9.41 km na kontrata ng DPWH sa Unimasters Conglomeration Inc./MMA Achievers Construction & Development Corporation/CDH Construction/ Flying Seven Construction na isa ring joint venture. Target na matapos ang natitirang daan ng Hulyo 2021.

Nasa PhP970-milyon donasyon ng gobyerno ng Japan sa Pilipinas ang gamit na pondo para sa proyekto, bilang suporta sa rehabilitasyon ng Marawi at kalapit na lugar.

Magsasagawa ng iba pang infrastructure projects ang DPWH na popondohan din ng JICA at ADB para sa recovery ng Marawi.
