Nakatanggap ang lahat ng 28 barangay sa Taguig ng food packs mula sa badyet ng pamahalaang lungsod ngayong umiiral ang ECQ sa NCR at apat pang karatig-probinsya.

Sinabi ni Taguig City Mayor Lino Cayetano nitong Marso 30 na nagbahay-bahay ang kanilang grupo para ipamahagi ang mga pagkain. Aniya, dahil sa ayuda mababawasan ang paglabas ng mga naninirahan sa lungsod kahit na bukas ang mga groseri at pamilihan.

Laman ng food packs ang bigas, mga de-lata, kape, energy drink, at hygiene kit na face masks, face shields, alcohol, at sabon, na inaasahang tatagal ng tatlo hanggang apat na araw.

“This one week will help us further lower the number of [COVID-19] cases we have in this city. The City of Taguig remains to have one of the lowest numbers of active cases in Metro Manila. And I believe that if we help each other we can lower it even further,” paghihimok ng mayor.

Sa tala, mayroong 14,128 kabuuang kaso ng COVID-19 ang lungsod, kung saan 183 rito ay aktibo, 13,760 na ang mga gumaling, habang 185 naman na ang namatay.

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
