3 marijuana farms wasak; P81.6M nasamsam

LUNGSOD NG QUEZON — Nasamsam sa magkakahiwalay na anti-illegal drug operations ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang P81.6M kabuuang halaga ng marijuana sa nakaraang tatlong linggo. Tatlong marijuana farms din ang nawarak ng mga operatiba ng kapulisan kasama na ang dalawang matagumpay na buy-bust operations sa Valenzuela at Antipolo.

Noong linggo ay naharang ng 3rd Regional Mobile Force Battalion ang 107 bricks high-grade marijuana na may bigat na 133 kilo mula sa dalawang suspek na sakay ng  white van na may plakang CAO5719 sa isang police checkpoint sa Clark, Mabalacat City ng 9:00 A.M. Kinilala ang dalawa na sina Morgano Manalastas at Ronald Miranda ng Angeles City, Pampanga. Nagkakahalaga ang 107 MJ bricks ng P13M.

Tatlong suspek naman ang arestado ng mga operatiba ng District Drug Enforcement Unit ng Northern Police District sa Valenzuela at Antipolo. Sa serye ng operasyon, nakumpiska ang 34 kilong marijuana at 156 gramo ng high-grade Kush na sa kabuuan ay nagkakahalaga ng P4.3M.

May kabuuang bilang na 286,150 naman na marijuana plants ang sinira ng tatlong marijuana eradication operations ng PNP sa Tinglayan, Kalinga sa Cordillera at Toledo City sa Central Visayas. Ang marijuana plants ay tinatayang nagkakahalagang P59.3M.

Sa Quezon, Isabela, 42 kilo naman ng abandonadong marijuana ang nakuha ng pulis matapos madiskubre ng isang jogger sa Quezon Boulevard Botanical Park na nagkakahalaga ng P5M sa drug market.

Sinabi ni PNP Chief Police General Archie Gamboa na sinasamantala ng drug traffickers ang pandemya. Pero nangako ang hepe na mas pagtitibayin pa ang kampanya laban sa mga sindikato ng iligal na droga.
