Hinimok ni AFP Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Cirilito Sobejana nitong Marso 2 ang militar na magpakita ng resolba at malakas na suporta sa vaccination program ng pamahalaan.
Ito ang ibinahagi ng Chief of Staff sa symbolic vaccination ng medical health frontliners na nakatalaga sa AFP General Headquarters ng kaparehong petsa.
“As the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and in full confidence of our government’s pursuit of promoting the interests for our people, I urge our troops to wholeheartedly support our government’s vaccination program. Let us collectively show our strong resolve of support and trust to this very decisive initiative,” sinabi ng AFP Chief.
Sinabi rin ng AFP na sinisiguro ng vaccination program ang pagiging epektibo ng bakuna na suportado ng mga kilalang health practitioners sa bansa.
Present din si Department of Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana sa nasabing event sa Tejeros Hall, kasama si Dr. Myrna C. Cabotaje ng DOH, at ilang senior defense officials.
Pinangunahan naman ni Doctor Colonel Maria Sheila P. Jardiolin, commanding officer ng Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo Station Hospital, ang health services personnel sa vaccination rollout. Prayoridad pa rin ang medical health workers na kasama sa COVID-19 operations ng militar.
“With the ongoing vaccine distribution and the attendant inoculation of our frontliners, the days ahead certainly look positive. These coming days bode well for all of us for we will certainly rise above the challenge,” paghihikayat ng AFP Chief.
