AFP NAMIGAY NG 3K FOOD PACKS SA MGA PAMILYANG APEKTADO NG PANDEMYA

Namigay ng 3,000 food packs ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa mga residente ng Barangay Socorro, Quezon City kahapon, Abril 29, sa pamamagitan ng Mobile Kitchen nito.

Kasama sa mga nakatanggap ng food pack ang mga driver ng pedicab, street sweepers, at mga pamilyang nakatira sa slum areas sa lugar.

“The AFP Mobile Kitchen is one of our soldiers’ humanitarian actions to help and provide assistance to our less fortunate kababayans as our nation continues to battle the Covid-19 pandemic,” saad ni AFP chief-of-staff Gen. Cirilito Sobejana sa isang pahayag.

Nagsimulang tumulong sa mga mahihirap na komunidad na apektado ng pandemya ang AFP sa pamamagitan ng programang ‘Kapwa Ko Sagot Ko’ mula noong Marso ng nakaraang taon.

Ang AFP Mobile Kitchen ay pinangungunahan ng mga sundalong may culinary training habang tumutulong ang mga sibilyan na maghanda ng mga pagkain.

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
