Inanunsyo ng Palasyo kahapon na lahat ng isyung nakapalibot sa contact tracing application na StaySafe.ph ay plantsado na.

“Lahat po ng kontrobersiya tungkol dito sa app na ito ay natapos na,” Roque said. “We have decided to go full speed ahead with Safety.PH ‘no. So ano na po iyan all systems [go for] StaySafe.ph.,” saad ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Noong Nobyembre ng nakaraang taon ay ipinag-utos ng IATF-EID ang paggamit ng StaySafe.ph sa lahat ng ahensya ng gobyerno pati na ang mga lokal na pamahalaan. 

Gayunpaman, ilang miyembro ng kongreso ang nauna nang kumuwestiyon sa accuracy ng app.

Pormal na nai-turn over sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang StaySafe.ph ng Multisys Technologies Corporation, ang developer ng nasabing contact tracing app noong Marso.

Ang DILG ang inatasang mamuno sa implementasyon nito habang ang Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) naman ang naatasang maging responsable para sa teknikal na operasyon ng app. 

Noong Abril lamang ay inaprubahan ng IATF-EID ang rekomendasyon ng paggamit ng automatic contact tracing sa pamamagitan ng Smart Messaging System (SMS) upang mapagbuti ang paggamit ng StaySafe.ph.

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
