Natagpuan na ang bangkay ng nawawalang 20 taong gulang na estudyante mula Maguindanao sa Brgy. Kibucay, Upi nitong Disyembre 21.

Natagpuan ang t-shirt, short, at panloob ng biktimang si Mondjahid Tauf, 20, sa isang sakahan sa nasabing lugar.

Dalawang caretaker ng farm ang tumulong sa mga imbestigador na matagpuan ang kahuhukay pa lang na pinaglibingan sa biktima.

Matapos mahukay ang bangkay ay sumunod na ang pag-aresto sa suspek na si Rafzanjani Bayona Tatak alyas Datu Raprap Tatak, 22, sa Cotabato City nitong Disyembre 22. Nakumpiska sa suspek ang isang handgun na pinaniniwalaang ginamit sa pagpatay sa biktima.

Nangyari ang pag-aresto dalawang araw matapos iulat na “missing” ng ina ng biktimang si Amera Abubakar ang pagkawala ng anak o noong Disyembre 20, na diumano’y sinundo ng suspek sa bahay nila sa Brgy. Salimbao Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao ng 2:00 p.m. noong Disyembre 18.

Pinaghahanap pa ang isang suspek na si Datu Nash ng CIDG at PRO-BAR.

Personal na galit ang posibleng motibo sa likod ng pagpatay.

Samantala, pinapurihan naman ni PNP Chief PGEN Debold M. Sinas ang maagang pagkakaresolba ng kaso. “This is another fine example of proper case management and investigation leading to the early solution of the crime,” pahayag ng hepe ng pulisya.
