Ilang miyembro ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) breakaway group sa ilalim ng Karialan Faction, kasama na ang commander ng mga ito, ang boluntaryong sumuko sa mga pulis at militar nitong Pebrero 6 bandang 8:00 a.m. ng umaga sa Sitio Landing Brgy. Buayan Datu Piang, Maguindanao, matapos ang ilang buwang pagtatago sa awtoridad.

Kinilala ang mga nagsisuko na sina Datu Nino Ebrahim, BIFF Commander; Mohidin Kusain Mantang a.k.a “Bapa”; Mehad Guiamandal a.k.a “Miguel”; Jiad Ebrahim; Jiamil Ebrahim a.k.a “Mikky”; Gapor Damada a.k.a “Gaploy”;  Indal Damada a.k.a “Quindal”; Hamui Amil a.k.a “Olong”; Kalim Zucamen a.k.a “Qlems”; Wari Damada a.k.a “War”; at Ausain Sansawna a.k.a “Imba”. Sinuko ng mga ito pati ang kanilang mga armas.

Pinangunahan ang matagumpay na pagsuko ng mga rebelde ng pinagsamang pwersa ng CIDG RFU BAR, 6IB Philippine Army, MIG12, ISAFP, 901B, 6MIB, 12ISU, RIU15, RID PRO BAR, at ISAFP.

Ayon sa PNP, isa si Datu Ebrahim na 2020 Q2 BIFF Karialan Faction commander sa 134 respondents sa Datu Piang rampage noong Disyembre 2020.

Kasong paglabag sa RA 11479 (Anti Terrorism Act of 2020), multiple frustrated murder, at destructive arson ang kakaharaping kaso ng mga sumukong rebelde.
