Caloocan City Medical Center muling isinara Nagpositibong empleyado, pumalo na sa 61 katao

Muling isinara sa publiko ang emergency room (ER) ng Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) South matapos pumalo sa 61 ang bilang ng mga empleyado nitong nagpositibo sa COVID-19.

Mula 12:01 ng madaling araw ng Agosto 1 hanggang 11:59 ng Agosto 14 ay sarado ang ER ng CCMC bagama’t patuloy pa rin ang operasyon ng Out-Patient Department (OPD) ng ospital sa Old City Hall Plaza. Bukas pa rin naman ang OPD ng CCMC North samantalang patuloy rin ang pagbibigay ng atensyong-medikal para sa mga pasyenteng naka-admit na.

Sa kasalukuyan ay naka-quarantine na ang mga apektadong empleyado. Ipinag-utos na rin ni Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan ang contact tracing sa mga posibleng nakasalamuha ng mga ito.                                                                                         

Samantala, gawa na rin ng “overflowing” ng bilang ng COVID-19 patients sa naturang ospital, nakiusap na si CCMC Administrator Dr. Fernando Santos sa publiko na dalhin na sa iba ang mga suspected o kumpirmadong positibo sa COVID-19.

Unang nagsara ang CCMC noong Hulyo 18 nang isang linggong dinekontaminahan ang ospital gawa na rin ng ilang mga nauna nang nagpositibong empleyado nito.
