CPNP ELEAZAR, UNANG TUTURUKAN NG COVID-19 VAX SA HANAY NG PNP NASA 92% POLICE PERSONNEL, HINDI ‘MAMIMILI’

Una si PNP Chief PGEN Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar sa mga magpapaturok ng COVID-19 vaccine sa hanay ng kapulisan kapag nagsimula na ang rollout para sa mga police personnel sa A4 category. 

Kasama ng PNP Chief ang kanyang Command Group na magpapabakuna para manguna sa information campaign na responsibilidad  ng bawat isa ang pagbabakuna at ligtas ang lahat ng vaccine brands.

“Hindi kami mamimili kung anong brand ng COVID-19 vaccine ang ituturok sa amin. We subscribe to the findings of health experts that all vaccine brands are safe and effective kaya we will take advantage of this free vaccination regardless of the brand,” pahayag ni PNP Chief.

Sa ulat ng PNP nitong Hunyo 10, nasa 92.23% na rin ng police personnel ang handang magpabakuna kumpara sa 51% noong Pebrero ngayong taon.

Sa kasalukuyan, hinihintay pa ng PNP ang vaccine allocation para sa kanilang police personnel sa A4 list. Pero hinihikayat din ng PNP ang kanilang personnel na magpabakuna rin sa kanilang LGUs na aprubado na ng DILG.

Sa tala ng PNP, nasa 16,646 na pulis na ang bakunado, kung saan 11,167 sa mga ito ay kumpleto na ang dose.
