CPNP Sinas sa POGO: ‘Isumbong ang mga kaso ng kidnapping‘Wag n’yong itago’

LUNGSOD NG QUEZON–Nagbabala si Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGEN Debold M. Sinas sa lahat ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) operators laban sa pagtatago ng impormasyon ukol sa kidnapping ng kanilang mga trabahador matapos ang kamakailan lamang ay naging insidente sa Angeles City sa Pampanga.

Sinabi ng PNP Chief, “I am strongly urging POGO operators to closely coordinate with the PNP on security concerns and to refrain from handling these matters on their own.”

Noong Sabado, Nobyembre 21, isang Vietnamese-Chinese POGO worker na kinilalang si Vong Cam Lan, diumano’y kidnap victim, ang nailigtas ng PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG) Luzon Field Unit bandang 5:30 p.m. sa Unit P B9 L10A Hanin Town Subd. Brgy. Pampang, Angeles City. Nagresulta rin ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto sa tatlong suspek na kasama ng biktima sa lugar.

Tumanggi ang mga suspek na ibigay ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan sa mga awtoridad. Diumano’y kinuha ang kanilang pasaporte ng kanilang kumpanya.

Dinala na ang mga suspek sa AKG headquarters sa Camp Crame para sa imbestigasyon ng kaso.
