Lumabas sa inisyal na imbestigasyon na nanggaling sa ilegal na small-scale backyard goldmining sa Labo ang explosive components ng improvised explosive devices (IEDs) na nakuha sa lugar kung saan naganap ang engkwentro.
Nakuha sa clearing operations ang 75 piraso ng IEDs at 5 molotov petrol bombs.
Nakuha rin sa lugar ang isang rolyo ng firing wire, 43 non-electric blasting caps, dalawang baterya, at isang electric blasting cap.
