Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa kanyang weekly public address nitong Marso 22 na itigil na sa madaling panahon ang pagpapapunta sa mga biyuda ng mga nagsipagpanaw na uniformed AFP at PNP personnel sa Camp Crame para magproseso ng death benefit claims.

“Ang practice kasi ang mga byuda pupunta pa dito sa Krame. Ewan ko if this is still being the practice now but if it is still the practice, I am ordering you to cut it now,” mariing pahayag ng Pangulo.

Bumubuo na ng isang special inter-agency task force ang ARTA na pangungunahan ni Deputy Director General for Finance and Administration Carlos Quita bilang tugon sa direktiba ni Pangulong Duterte.

Iimbitahan ang DILG, Ombudsman, PSA, at NPC sa nasabing task force.

Tinitingnan din ng ARTA ang pagtatayo ng one-stop shop sa mga lokalidad at paggamit ng automated system kagaya ng sa business permits.

Sa kasalukuyan, maaari nang magamit ng claimants ang e-mail address afppnpclaims@arta.gov.ph para sa kanilang mga katanungan.

“Hindi na po kailangang hintayin ang pagbuo ng inter-agency task force with the Department of the Interior and Local Government and PNP dahil ngayon pa lang ay maaari n’yo na pong iparating sa amin ang mga concern ukol dito para agad po nating maaksyunan,” sinabi ni ARTA Director General Jeremiah Belgica.
