DEBIT-CREDIT SCHEME NG PHILHEALTH, PINAYAGAN NA SA LAHAT NG HIGH RISK AT CRITICAL RISK AREAS

Inanunsyo ng Palasyo ngayong araw na maaari nang mag-avail ang health care facilities (HCFs) na nasa high risk at critical risk na lugar ng bagong debit-credit scheme ng PhilHealth.

Ito ay matapos aprubahan ng IATF-EID kahapon ang aplikasyon ng debit-credit payment method ng PhilHealth sa mga lugar na itinuturing na ‘high risk’ sa COVID-19.

Noong una ay ang HCFs na matatagpuan sa Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, at Rizal lamang ang maaaring mag-avail ng bagong debit-credit payment. 

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, nagdesisyon ang IATF-EID na gawin ding prayoridad ang iba pang lugar sa bansa na maituturing na high risk at critical risk.

“These other high risk and critical risk areas will also be prioritized in the Covid-19 vaccine allocation, human health resource deployment, and other relevant Covid-19 response, as applicable,” saad niya.

Sa ilalim ng PhilHealth Circular 2021-0004 na inilabas noong Abril 8, ang paggamit ng DCPM ay inaprubahan upang siguruhin ang tuluy-tuloy na paghahatid ng health care services sa kasagsagan ng pandemya.

Ito ay naaangkop sa mga in-process claims mula sa accredited na HCFs na gumagamot sa mga pasyenteng may COVID-19 at mga pasilidad na may PhilHealth testing package na hindi suspendido ang accreditation.

Nauna nang nagbigay ng direktiba si Pangulong Duterte sa PhilHealth na pabilisin ang pagbabayad sa hospital claims. Ito ay matapos aminin ng huli na may mga delay sa pagpoproseso sa reimbursement claims ng mga ospital.
