DOH NAKAHANDANG SURIIN NG ISANG TAON ANG MGA MAKAKATANGGAP NG COVID-19 VACCINE

Kailangan umanong sumailalim sa isang taong pagsusuri ang mga makakatanggap ng COVID-19 vaccine upang matukoy ang mga posibleng negatibong epekto nito.

Ayon kay Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Myrna Cabotaje, pagkatapos maisagawa ang pagbabakuna, kailangan umanong maghintay ng pasyente ng 30 minuto hanggang isang oras upang matukoy kung mayroong negatibong epekto ang bakuna.

“The observation will take one year para makita natin kung ito ba ay sa bakuna, or hindi dahil sa bakuna. Titingnan natin,” ani Usec. Cabotaje.

Matapos mabakunahan, kailangan umanong magbigay ng paalala ng health workers sa posibleng side effects ng bakuna.

Ilalagay rin ang impormasyon ng pasyente sa electronic immunization registry ng DOH upang patuloy na maisagawa ang pagbabantay at pagsusuri sa pasyente.

Kaugnay nito, iniulat naman ni Philippine Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology President Rommel Lobo na maaaring magkaroon ng allergic reaction ang pasyente apat na oras matapos maibigay ang bakuna.

Ayon pa sa kanya, maaaring sa ikatlo o ikaapat na araw makita ang kung anumang epekto ng bakuna sa pasyente, at bihira umano ang mga pagkakataong aabot pa sa mahigit isang taon bago maitala ang anumang allergic reaction matapos mabakunahan.
