DPWH MAINTENANCE CREW, EQUIPMENT NAKAHANDA NA PARA SA CLEARING OPERATIONS SA BICOL PAGHUPA NG BAGYONG ULYSSES

Siniguro ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) na agarang magsasagawa ng clearing operations sa Bicol region sa oras na humina na ang pagbayo ng hangin sa lugar bunsod ng Bagyong Ulysses.

Sa kaniyang social media account, inanunsyo ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar ngayong Huwebes, Nobyembre 12, na mayroong 11 na road sections sa rehiyon ang hindi madaanan dala ng hagupit ng bagyo.

Ito ay ang mga sumusunod na lugar:

  • Sto. Domingo-Buhatan- Cagraray Circumferential Road 
  • Daang Maharlika, Calagbangan, Sipocot, Camarines Sur
  • Daang Maharlika (LZ) San Fernando, Camarines Sur
  • Milaor-Minalabac-Pili Road Minalabac Camarines Sur K0438+600
  • Danao-Pasacao Road Pasacao, Camarines Sur K0424+300
  • Pili-Tigaon-Albay Bdry. Road, Brgy. Talojongan, Tigaon, Camarines Sur K0479+500
  • Tigaon-Lagonoy Section at Intermittent Section
  • Goa-Digdigon-San Isidro Road, Brgy. San Juan Bautista, Goa, Camarines Sur
  • Presentacion-Maligaya Road, Brgy. Pili, Presentacion, Camarines Sur
  • Catanduanes Circumferential Road
  • San Pascual to Claveria Road (Claveria Side), Poblacion 2, Claveria, Masbate

Base sa ulat ng DPWH Region 5, marami sa mga lansangan sa rehiyon ang naharangan ng mga natumbang puno at hindi mabagtas dahil sa landslide at pagbaha. 

Isa na rito ang circumferential road sa Catanduanes na muling nabarahan bunsod ng pagbagsak ng naglalakihang bato sa lugar, ilang araw lamang matapos maalis ang mga nakaharang dito na dala ng pananalasa ng Super Typhoon Rolly kamakailan lamang.

Ayon pa sa Kagawaran, naka-standby na ang kanilang maintenance crew at ang mga kaukulang kagamitan na gagamitin sa clearing operations na isasagawa sa puntong humina na ang bagyo sa rehiyon.
