Arestado ng CIDG-MCIU at BI ang Top 2 at 4 South Korea Most Wanted dahil sa online fraud nitong Abril 13 sa Parañaque City.

Huli sa dalawang magkahiwalay na operasyon sina Yu Daewoong, 39, bandang 11:15 a.m. sa No. 100 Hawaii St., Parañaque at Kang Wesung, 36, bandang 12:15 p.m. sa Miami Tower Penthouse 20 Azure, Parañaque.

Parehong pugante ang dalawang suspek na may Interpol red notice at may kasong kriminal sa South Korea dahil sa paglabag sa Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes Art. 3(1)-2, Criminal Act Art. 347(1).

“The arrest of these international fugitives is part of the commitment of the Philippine government as a member of the ICPO-INTERPOL to assist member states in arresting wanted fugitives,” pahayag ni PNP Chief, Police General Debold M. Sinas.

Nasa kustodiya ng CIDG-MCIU ang dalawang suspek. Nasabihan na rin ang police attaché ng Korean National Police sa bansa ng Foreign Liaison Division ng PNP Directorate for Intelligence.
