Binuksan na ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang 44 na bagong ruta ng mga jeepney sa Metro Manila. Ibig sabihin, 5000 pang mga tradisyunal na jeep ang papayagan na ngayong makabiyahe.
Sa kabuuan, 27,000 jeepneys na ang nakakapamasada ngayon sa 302 na rutang inalaan ng LTFRB buhat noong payagan na silang makapamasada.
Ito ang nakasaad sa Memorandum Circular 2020-058 noong Sabado.
Kasunod nito, nangako naman ang LTFRB na aaralin pa nila ang pagbubukas ng mas marami pang bagong ruta na mapapakinabangan ng mga public utility vehicles (PUVs) na matagal na nabakasyon dahil sa coronavirus pandemic.

Launched on February 28, 2019 at the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (LRT-2) Cubao Station, Quezon City, it also aims to raise awareness among local communities about the policies, programs, and accomplishments of the Presidency.
