HEALTH WORKERS MULA SA 3 COVID-19 HOSPITALS BIBIGYANG-PRAYORIDAD NA MABAKUNAHAN LABAN SA VIRUS

Kinumpirma ni Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III na ang health frontliners at administrative staff mula sa tatlong COVID-19 referral hospitals sa bansa ay mauuna sa listahan ng mga babakunahan sa oras na dumating na sa bansa ang 117,000 na doses ng COVID-19 vaccine mula sa Pfizer-BioNTech ngayong buwan. 

Ang tatlong mga ospital na ito ay kinabibilangan ng Lung Center of the Philippines, Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, at ng Philippine General Hospital. 

Ang naturang desisyon ay ginawa dahil sa itinuturing na COVID-19 epicenter ng bansa ang Metro Manila. 

Posible namang sunod na mabakunahan ang mga matatanda dahil sila ay nabibilang sa populasyon na madaling mahawaan ng matinding kaso ng COVID-19. 

Ayon kay Secretary Duque, hindi naman aniya kinakailangang magdagdag ng tao kapag dumating na ang naturang suplay ng bakuna dahil sa ngayon, sapat naman ang bilang ng vaccinators sa bansa. 

Kasalukuyan nang sumasailalim sa seminars para sa COVID-19 immunization program ng bansa ang mga indibidwal na nakatakdang magsagawa ng pagbabakuna laban sa virus.
