IATF NAKATAKDANG MAGSAGAWA NG “NEW NORMAL” GUIDELINES

Nakatakdang makipagpulong ang mga kinatawan ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases at health and economic experts upang pagplanuhan ang panibagong panuntunan sa mga lugar na maaaring isailalim sa “new normal” classification.

Matapos imungkahi sa IATF na ilagay ang mga lugar na wala nang naitalang kaso ng COVID sa loob ng isang buwan sa new normal classification, inihayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque noong Biyernes na magkakaroon ng pagpupulong sa pamumuno ng sub-technical working group mula sa IATF tungkol sa mga rekomendasyon na maaaring gamitin sa new normal guidelines.

“The meeting will be composed of health expert panels from the Department of Health Technical Advisory Group, the Health Care Professionals Alliance Against COVID-19 as well as economic experts to balance health and economy,” paglilinaw ni Sec. Roque.

Kaugnay nito, iniulat din Sec. Roque na ihahanay ang mga polisiya ng National Action Plan Phase III sa gagawing new normal guidelines. Dagdag pa niya, nakatakdang magsagawa ng unified long-term plan ang task force base sa isasagawang IATF resolution.

Maliban sa Metro Manila at ilang lugar, nasa ilalim ng Modified General Community Quarantine ang halos lahat ng lugar sa bansa. Unti-unti na rin ang pagluwag ng gobyerno sa mga regulasyon upang makatulong sa pagbangon ng ekonomiya.    

Ayon sa pinakahuling datos mula sa Department of Health, umabot na sa 336,926 ang kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, 276,094 naman ang nakarekober, at 6,238 ang nasawi.
