LUNGSOD NG QUEZON Isinagawa ng AFP ang landmark rollout ng COVID-19 vaccines para sa ilang piling personnel nito noong Marso 1 sa V. Luna Medical Center.

Tatlumpung frontline health personnel ang nakinabang sa first rollout ng militar. Binakunahan ang commanding officer ng ospital na si Dr. Col. Fatima Claire Navarro bilang parte ng seremonya, kasama ang dalawa pang doktor na sina Ltc. Cynthia Liao at Maj. Joel Lorenzo Rollo.

Magsisimula na rin ang rollout ng AFP sa primary healthcare facilities ng ahensya sa NCR na may COVID-19 patients itong Marso 2.

Si Doc. Col. Maria Sheila Jardiolin na commanding officer ng Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo Station Hospital ang mangunguna sa pagbabakuna ng health services personnel sa general headquarters.

Si Doc. Col Joel Anastacio naman na commanding officer ng Army General Hospital sa Fort Bonifacio ang mangunguna sa ceremonial vaccination sa Philippine Army.

Para sa Philippine Navy, pangungunahan ni Doc. Col Pura Lyn Epres na commanding officer ng Manila Naval Hospital sa Bonifacio Naval Station sa Taguig City ang grupo ng medical frontliners na babakunahan.

Si Philippine Air Force Commanding Officer Doc. Col. Nelson Posadas naman ang mangunguna sa ceremonial vaccination sa General Hospital sa Villamor Air Base sa Pasay City.

Sinabi ng AFP na prayoridad nito ang medical health frontliners.

Dahil na rin sa hindi sapat na bilang ng vaccines sa mga dapat mabakunahan na uniformed personnel, sinabi ng AFP na uunahin nito ang mga nagsasagawa ng anti-COVID-19 operations.
