LGUs KAILANGANG SUMUNOD SA NAT’L GOV’T PRIORITIZATION LIST SA PAGBILI NG BAKUNA KONTRA COVID-19

Kailangan pa rin umanong sumunod ng mga lokal na pamahalaan sa prioritization list na itinakda ng gobyerno at gawin itong gabay sa pagbili ng kani-kanilang COVID-19 vaccines.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, tanging ang gobyerno at ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases lamang ang makatutukoy kung anong lugar ang bibigyan ng prayoridad.

“Well, siyempre po iyong mandato naman kung paano iroroll out, iyan po ay desisyon pa rin ng national government at ng IATF. So, lahat po ng LGUs kinakailangang sumunod,” pahayag ni Sec. Roque.

Dagdag pa niya, kasama sa listahan ng mga prayoridad ng gobyerno ang Metro Manila, Region 4-A, Cebu, at Davao sapagkat kinakitaan umano ang mga lugar na ito ng mataas na bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19.

Pinaalala rin ni Sec. Roque na sa pamamagitan lamang ng tripartite agreement sa gobyerno at sa pharmaceutical companies makabibili ng bakuna ang mga lokal na pamahalaan.

“Hindi po sila makakabili ng bakuna on their own, kinakailangan pa rin ng pirma ng national government kasi lahat po ng bakuna ay binibenta on a government-to-government basis,” paglilinaw ni Sec. Roque.

Samantala, nanawagan din si Sec. Roque sa mga residente sa lugar na nasa ilalim ng Modified General Community Quarantine na ipagpatuloy ang pagsunod sa minimum health standards matapos ang ilang ulat na naging pabaya umano ang ilan sa mga ito dahil na rin sa mas pinaluwag na quarantine classification.

“Maski kayo po ay nakaMGCQ kinakailangan pa ring sumunod doon sa ating minimum health protocols, kaya nga po mababa diyan dahil sumusunod kayo dati sa minimum health protocols,” paalala ni Sec. Roque.
