LTO: ‘FACE MASK, KAILANGANG NAKASUOT SA LOOB NG PAMPUBLIKO, PRIBADONG SASAKYAN’

Muling nagpaalala ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa publiko na nararapat pa ring magsuot ng face mask ang mga pasahero ng pampubliko at pribadong sasakyan kahit na sila ay magkakasama sa iisang bahay.

“Kung galing kayo sa isang bahay, ‘di rin nasasabi sa regulation, dapat mag-face mask pa rin. It does not distinguish kung magkasama kayo sa bahay or hindi, as long as you are two or more,” pahayag ni LTO Director Clarence Guinto,

Ayon naman kay LTO Chief Edgar Galvante, pag-aaralan pa ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases ang guidelines ng nasabing panukala upang mabantayan ang kaligtasan ng publiko kontra sa pagkalat ng COVID-19.

Samantala, titingnan din ng ahensya ang posibleng epekto ng pagsusuot ng face mask sa loob ng sasakyan para naman sa senior citizens. 

“We can always review this. We’ll look into this. May exemption naman ‘pag mga emergency,” saad pa ni Guinto.
