LUNGSOD NG MARIKINA, NAGSAGAWA NG RAPID TESTING SA MGA EVACUEES

Upang maagapan ang pagkalat ng sakit, nagsagawa ng COVID-19 rapid tests ang lokal na pamahalaan ng lungsod ng Marikina sa mga residenteng kasalukuyang nasa evacuation centers dahil sa pagsalanta ng Bagyong Ulysses.

Ayon sa pahayag ni Mayor Marcelino Teodoro kahapon, Nobyembre 19, may isang 68 anyos na lalaking nagpositibo kahapon sa Barangay Barangka Elementary School. Kasalukuyang naka-isolate ang pasyente ngayon sa Marikina Hotel.

“Lahat ng mga nakasalamuha niya at nakasama niya sa evacuation center batay dun sa contact tracing na 13 katao ay negative naman,” saad ni Teodoro.

Dagdag pa niya, kinunan din ng test ang pamilya ng pasyente.

Isa ang Marikina sa mga labis na naapektuhan ng paghagupit ng Bagyong Ulysses matapos nitong magdulot ng matinding baha sa lugar.

Mayroon ng 190 contact tracers ang nakalaan para sa mga evacuation centers sa lungsod. Bukod dito, naglagay na rin ng rapid testing center sa bawat evacuation center ang lokal na pamahalaan.

Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroong 15,000 na residente ang pansamantalang naninirahan sa iba’t ibang evacuation centers sa lungsod.
