Isang kilo ng shabu na nagkakahalagang PhP6.8-milyon ang nasabat sa mag-asawang taga-Lanao sa buy bust operation ng Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group Special Operations Unit-9 sa Purok 2 Brgy. West Kilikili Wao, Lanao del Sur nitong Nobyembre 21 bandang 2:00 p.m.

Huli si Busran Saripada Busran a.k.a. “Commander Manong”, 64, at ang asawa nitong si Monira Alipapa Ampatua, 46, sa tulong na rin ng Wao Municipal Police Station at 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company ng Lanao Del Sur Police Provincial Office.

Sasailalim sa inquest proceedings ang mga suspek dahil sa paglabag sa RA 9165.

“Because the anti-illegal drugs program is a national crusade, then it shall be among the flagship law enforcement campaigns of the PNP,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Debold M. Sinas.

Samantala, sa parehong petsa ay sinalakay naman ng mga operatiba ng Bakun Municipal Police Station ang dalawang marijuana farms sa Sitio Lepsik at Sitio Mabilig, parehong nasa Kayapa Bakun, Benguet.

Nasa 1,160 fully-grown marijuana plants ang binunot at sinunog ng mga operatiba sa lugar.
