‘MAGALING NA KAMI!’

Malaki ang ngiti sa labi ng may 61 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) matapos gumaling sa COVID- 19.

Laya na sila mula sa ilang araw na isolation sa  We Heal As One Center sa Fort Magsaysay sa Nueva Ecija ngayong araw, Agosto 20.

Isang simpleng send-off ceremony ang isinagawa kanina ng Bureau of Quarantine at ng mga medical staff.

Sila ang first batch ng recoveries mula sa quarantine center at inaasahang masusundan pa ito ng mas marami.

Sinundo sila roon ng kanilang pamilya pauwi ng kanilang mga bahay.

Maaalalang dinala sila roon matapos nilang magpositibo sa COVID-19 galing sa ibang bansa.

Nasa 478 air-conditioned rooms ang inihanda para sa kanila. Nasa 44 na kwarto naman ang nakalaan sa mga medical staff.

Ang bawat pasyente, 24/7 na tinutukan ng mga doktor; libre rin ang kanilang pagkain pati na internet connection.

Ang Fort Magsaysay quarantine center ay bahagi ng istratehiya ng pamahalaan na i-convert ang mga malalaking pasilidad para sa COVID-19 patients lalo na ang mga may mild symptoms at asymptomatic.

Paraan na rin ito upang maiwasan ang pagsisiksikan sa mga ospital maging ang pagkalat nito sa mga komunidad.
