Mahigit 800 medical personnel, WANTED sa East Avenue Medical Center sa QC

Mahigit 800 medical personnel ang kailangan ngayon ng East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC).

Ito ay matapos buksan ngayong araw ang bagong gawang extension ng kanilang ospital. Tinawag itong Center for Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases o CERID. Laman ng anim na palapag na gusali ang nasa 220 isolation rooms, bukod pa sa 30 ICU beds.

Taong 2014 pa nang sinimulang itayo ang gusali na para sana gawing Women’s Wellness and Brain Center pero dahil sa malaking pangangailangan ngayon ng pasilidad para sa Covid-19 response, agad itong ki-convert sa isolation facility.

Malaki ang kinalaman ng pribadong sektor para punan ng equipment ang bawat kwarto.Nagpapasalamat ang EAMC sa Foundation ng MVP Group of Companies.

Pero dahil na rin sa tulong ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) at ng Department of Health (DOH), naisakatuparan ang pagbubukas ng bagong pasilidad para sumali sa laban kontra COVID-19.

Meron din itong sariling emergency room na kaya ang 20-40 patients, operating, labor at delivery room.

Dahil dito, tataas ang kanilang kapasidad na tumanggap ng Covid-19 patients.

Ang target nila sa ngayon, magdagdag ng tao.

Ang kanilang kailangan, 77 medical specialists at officers, 279 nurses, at nursing aides, 468 paramedical personnel, at iba pang support services.

Ang mga aplikante, maaaring makipag-ugnayan sa EAMC sa numero 89280611.

Pero habang naghihintay, agad namang sumaklolo ang DOH. Nasa 20 na medical personnel ang in-import nila sa Region 1 para tulungan ang EAMC.

Bahagi ito ng pagpapalawig ng gobyerno sa hospital bed copacity ng mga ospital para matulungan ang mga Pilipinong tatamaan ng Covid-19.
