Ayon kay Anti-Red Tape Authority Director General Jeremiah Belgica, kasalukuyang ipinapatupad na ng kaniyang tanggapan ang Paspas (Fast) Permit System, kung saan agarang inaaprubahan ang aplikasyon ng mga kumpanya para sa pagtatayo ng telecommunication towers sa oras na nakapagbigay ng kumpletong mga dokumento at iba pang requirements ang mga ito.

“We are seeing the speedy issuance of permits. And by next year, we hope na mas marami pa pong towers ang maitatayo,” saad ni Belgica.

Samantala, inilahad naman ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na mula sa 7.44 Mbps noong Hulyo 2016 ay umakyat sa 14.46 Mbps noong Pebrero 2019 ang bilis ng Internet connectivity sa bansa, bagama’t aminado siyang mababa pa rin ito.

Sa kabila nito, tiniyak ng tagapagsalita ng Presidente na patuloy na bibigyang-pansin ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang suliranin sa Internet connectivity sa bansa upang maiwasang mapag-iwanan ito ng iba pang mga bansa sa Asya.

Launched on February 28, 2019 at the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (LRT-2) Cubao Station, Quezon City, it also aims to raise awareness among local communities about the policies, programs, and accomplishments of the Presidency. 

Through this platform, Balita Central Digital aims to reach further the online community to deliver more accurate information and communication services in order to educate the citizenry regarding national issues which would enlighten them to be engaged and be empowered in contributing to building a better nation.
