MAS MAIKLING CURFEW HOURS, APRUBADO NA NG MGA ALKALDE NG METRO MANILA

Ibinahagi ni Metropolitan Manila Development Authority Chairman Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos, Jr. na nagkasundo na ang 17 alkalde ng Metro Manila na paikliin ang curfew hours mula 10:00 p.m. hanggang 4:00 a.m simula sa darating na Mayo 1.

Dahil sa implementasyon ng modified enhanced community quarantine hanggang sa Abril 30, kasalukuyang ipinatutupad ang curfew hours mula 8:00 p.m. hanggang 5:00 a.m.

“They have also decided to shorten the curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. As far as curfew is concerned, it is within the power of local government units, but they opted to have unified curfew or curfew guidelines in the National Capital Region,” ani MMDA Chairman Abalos.

Bukod pa rito, inirekomenda rin ng mga alkalde sa Metro Manila na ipatupad ang “flexible” modified enhanced community quarantine classification upang makatulong sa ekonomiya subalit anila, mananatiling mahigpit ang border control gayundin ang pagsunod sa health protocols.

Ayon kay Abalos, malaki ang maitutulong ng implementasyon ng bagong curfew hours sa operasyon ng malls at iba pang establisyemento sa Metro Manila.

Samantala, inaasahan namang idedeklara na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ngayong Miyerkules ng gabi, Abril 28 ang bagong quarantine classification ng bansa sa darating na Mayo.
