MASTERMIND SA COTABATO MALL BOMBING PATAY SA SAGUPAAN SA PULIS

Patay ang diumano’y mastermind sa 2018 New Year’s Eve bombing sa Cotabato Mall sa engkwentro sa mga pulis ng 1:30 a.m. nitong Disyembre 1 sa Brgy. Bagua 2, Cotabato City.

Tiklo ang umano’y mastermind ng South Seas Mall bombing sa Cotabato City na pumatay sa dalawang katao at sumugat sa 30 pa na si Abraham Abad Abdulrahman a.k.a. Abu Suffian sa palitan ng putok sa mga pulis na naghahain ng search warrant sa tahanan ng umano’y asawa nitong si Jasmiyah Camsa Imbrahim. Hinain ang search warrant sa utos na rin ni Judge Allan Edwin Boncavil ng Regional Trial Court Br. 19 ng Isulan City, Sultan Kudarat.

Tumanggi umano sa warrant si Abdulrahman na nakipagpalitan ng putok sa mga awtoridad gamit ang cal.45 pistol. Nakuha rin sa kanya ang hand grenade. Nakatakas naman si Imbrahim.

Nakuha rin ng raiding team ang 60mm high-explosive mortar projectile, improvised explosive device (IED) components, at motorsiklo.

Anim na menor de edad ang naligtas mula sa area habang isang babae naman na nasa loob ng bahay nang mangyari ang raid ang inilagay sa kustodiya ng mga pulis.

Sa tala ng Philippine National Police, miyembro si Abdulrahman ng Dawlah Islamiya na may IED training sa ilalim ni Mohammad Jaafar Maguid a.k.a. Tokboy Maguid ng Ansar al-Khilafah Philippines.

Kasali rin si Abdulrahman sa pagsakop sa Butig at Marawi City ng Maute Group. Nakatakas si Abdulrahman sa operasyon ng military-police sa Marawi kasama ang ilang mga balo ng mga napatay ring jihadists at nagkanlong sa Maguindanao.

Kamakailan lang ay napaulat na nagbibili si Abdulrahaman ng IED components at medical supplies para sa kanyang superbisor na si Abu Turaife ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, kasa-kasama ang isang IED expert na si Abu Naim.
