Mula ngayong araw, lahat ng opisina at ahensya ng lokal na pamahalaan sa lungsod ng Maynila ay magkakaroon na ng reduced physical working capacity o 30 percent ng workforce nito. 

Inanunsyo ito ni Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso kagabi matapos makipagpulong kay Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan at ilang opisyal tungkol sa kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng lungsod dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases.

“Babalik tayo sa pagbabawas ng mga tao sa city hall para (sa) precautionary measure, and I believe in you na kahit konti lang tayo, makakapag-function tayo efficiently,” saad ni Domagoso sa pagpupulong. 

Ang bilang ng mga aktibong kaso sa lungsod ay umabot na sa 1,549 ayon sa pinakabagong datos ng Manila Health Department (MHS) kahapon.

Hindi kasama sa 30-percent workforce policy ang mga personnel sa Manila Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Department of Public Services, Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, MHS, Manila Department of Social Welfare, at sa anim na district hospitals ng lungsod.

Dagdag ni Domagoso, personal siyang magsasagawa ng inspeksyon sa 897 na barangay ng lungsod at nangakong hindi siya magdadalawang-isip na tanggalin ang mga opisyal na magiging pabaya sa pagpapatupad ng mga panuntunan.
