Mananatili sa ilalim ng modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang NCR Plus na kinabibilangan ng Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite, at Laguna hanggang Mayo 14, 2021. 

Ito ang inanunsyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang public address nitong Miyerkules, Abril 28. 

Samantala, mapapasailalim din sa MECQ ang Santiago City sa probinsya ng Quirino at ang Abra, na bahagi ng Cordillera Administrative Region, mula Mayo 1 hanggang Mayo 31.

Inilagay naman sa illalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) mula Mayo 1 hanggang Mayo 31 ang mga sumusunod:

  • Apayao
  • Baguio City
  • Benguet
  • Ifugao
  • Kalinga
  • Mountain Province
  • Cagayan
  • Isabela
  • Nueva Vizcaya
  • Batangas
  • Quezon Province
  • Tacloban City
  • Iligan City
  • Davao City
  • Lanao del Sur

Ang iba pang bahagi ng bansa ay nasa ilalim ng pinakamaluwag na klasipikasyon na modified general community quarantine o MGCQ.

Gayunpaman, patuloy na imomonitor ng pamahalaan ang mga lugar sa  Luzon, Western Visayas, at Zamboanga Peninsula na may mataas na kaso ng Coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19.

“This new community quarantine classification is subject to the appeals of the local government units,” saad naman ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.

Nauna nang ibinalik sa enhanced community quarantine ang NCR Plus mula Marso 29 hanggang Abril 11 ng taong ito. Ibinaba naman ang naturang klasipikasyon sa MECQ mula Abril 12 hanggang Abril 30.
