METRO MANILA, GCQ PA RIN NGAYONG KAPASKUHAN

Inanunsyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte nitong Linggo, Nobyembre 29 na mananatili sa General Community Quarantine (GCQ) ang Metro Manila ngayong buwan ng Disyembre.

Bukod sa Metro Manila, isasailalim din sa GCQ ang Batangas, Iloilo City, Tacloban City, Lanao del Sur, Iligan, at Davao City. Ang nalalabing bahagi naman ng bansa ay mananatili sa Modified General Community Quarantine.

Matatandaang inirekomenda kamakailan ng mga alkalde ng Metro Manila na ipagpatuloy ang implementasyon ng GCQ upang mapigilan ang pagdami ng kaso ng COVID-19 ngayong holiday season.

“Pinagpulungan po doon na para maiwasan po natin ‘yung spike o ‘yung tinatawag na wave na susunod, ay atin pong nirekomenda, ng MMC, sa IATF po natin na manatili po ang GCQ until end of the year,” pahayag ni Parañaque Mayor Edwin Olivarez.

Nagsimulang isailalim ang Metro Manila sa GCQ noong Agosto matapos umalma ang ilang health professionals na magkaroon ng “time-out” upang mapigilan ang pagkalat ng virus sa lugar.

Sa pinakahuling datos mula sa Department of Health, nakapagtala na ng 431,630 na kaso ng COVID-19 ang bansa. Sa bilang na ito, 398,658 na ang naka-recover samantalang 8,392 naman ang bilang ng mga nasawi.
