MGA SIMBAHAN SA MAYNILA, MAAARING GAMITING COVID-19 VACCINATION SITES

Ibinahagi ni Manila City Mayor Francisco Domagoso na boluntaryo umanong inalok ni Bishop Broderick Pabillo na gamitin ng lokal na pamahalaan ang ilang malalaking simbahan sa siyudad upang maging COVID-19 vaccination sites.

“Yesterday, I received an offer, voluntary offer from the church, na kung saan inaalok nila as a space that can be utilized ‘yung ating mga malalaking simbahan,” pahayag ni Mayor Domagoso.

Ikinatuwa ito ng alkalde subalit aniya, makikipag-usap pa muna umano sila sa mga opisyal ng simbahan bago maglabas ng anumang detalye patungkol rito.

Aminado ang alkalde na malaki ang maitutulong ng malalaking simbahan sa Maynila, partikular na ang simbahan sa Intramuros, sapagkat mapipigilan umano ang pagkalat ng virus sa lawak ng espasyo ng mga ito.

Layon ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Maynila na magtayo ng 18 posibleng vaccination sites na aniya’y “walking distance” lang umano sa mga komunidad.

Bawat vaccination site ay magkakaroon umano ng limang vaccination room at internet connection.

Sa panahong maaprubahan na ng gobyerno ang distribusyon ng bakuna, lingguhang isasagawa ang vaccination drive sa lungsod ng Maynila.
