LUNGSOD NG QUEZON — Suspendido man ang mga pampublikong sasakyan, tuloy pa rin ang angkasan sa mga motorsiklo sa Mega Manila kahit nagbalik na ito sa modified enhanced community quarantine.

Pero para lamang ito sa mga  authorized persons outside residence (APORs). Papayagan din ang backride basta’t may gamit na physical barrier.

Ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo M. Año, hindi na kailangang mag-asawa o mag-partner ang sakay ng motor. “Basta work-related ang lakad at APOR ang passenger, pinapayagan nating mag-backride sa ngayon,” ani ng Kalihim.

Mga pribadong motorsiklo lamang ang pinapayagang bumiyahe kaya bawal pa rin ang Angkas, Joyride, at iba pang ride services. “Pinapayagan lang namin ito ngayon para makapasok sa trabaho ang mga tao,” giit ni DILG Sec. Año.

Magandang balita naman sa mga traysikel drayber dahil patuloy pa rin ang operasyon ng mga ito basta susunod sa guidelines ng kani-kanilang lokal na pamahalaan. “Maaari ring pahintulutan ng LGU ang mga may quarantine pass na sumakay sa tricycle sa paglabas nito upang bumili ng pagkain o iba pang essential services basta’t isa lamang ang pasahero nito at may regular na disinfection na isasagawa ng tsuper,” dagdag pa ni Sec. Año.
