NCR PLUS MANANATILING NAKA-GCQ HANGGANG HUNYO 15; 14 LUGAR ISINAILALIM SA MECQ

Mananatili sa ilalim ng general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions ang Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal, na kilala rin sa tawag na National Capital Region Plus o NCR Plus hanggang Hunyo 15.

Ito ang inanunsyo ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa kanyang public address nitong Lunes, Hunyo 1.

Ang mga sumusunod na mga lugar naman ay mapapasailalim sa GCQ sa buong buwan ng Hunyo:

  • Baguio City
  • Kalinga
  • Mountain Province
  • Abra
  • Isabela
  • Nueva Vizcaya
  • Quirino
  • Batangas
  • Quezon
  • Iligan City
  • Davao City
  • Lanao del Sur
  • Cotabato City

Samantala, isasailalim naman sa modified enhanced community quarantine o MECQ mula Hunyo 1 hanggang 15 ang mga sumusunod:

  • Lungsod ng Santiago, Isabela
  • Cagayan
  • Apayao
  • Benguet
  • Ifugao
  • Puerto Princesa City
  • Iloilo City
  • Zamboanga City
  • Zamboanga Sibugay
  • Zamboanga del Sur
  • Zamboanga del Norte
  • Cagayan de Oro City
  • Butuan City
  • Agusan del Sur

Ang iba pang bahagi ng bansa ay malalagay sa modified general community quarantine o MGCQ mula Hunyo 1 hanggang sa katapusan ng nasabing buwan.

Sa kabila ng pagbaba ng mga kaso ng Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) sa bansa, sinabi ng Department of Health noong linggo na hindi pa rin nito nais na mapasailalim ang mga lugar na nauna nang naka-GCQ sa mas maluwag na klasipikasyon ng quarantine sa buwan ng Hunyo.

“We’re not out of the woods kumbaga, kaya ayon ‘yong sasabihin ko kapag nagpulong kami sa Lunes. Ipapakita ko ang datos na may kataasan pa rin talaga ang mga kaso araw araw,” naunang ipinahayag ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III sa isang panayam.

Sa pinakahuling datos ay nasa kabuuang 1,230,301 kaso na ng COVID-19 ang naitala sa bansa. Nasa 20,966 ang pumanaw na mula sa nasabing sakit, samantalang 1,155,045 katao naman ang gumaling na mula rito.
