Handa na ang kapulisan upang panatilihin ang kaayusan at seguridad sa nalalapit na paggunita ng Undas ngayong taon.

Inaasahang dadagsa ang mga tao sa mga sementeryo ilang araw bago ito isara mula Oktubre 29 hanggang Nobyembre 4. 

Kamakailan, naglabas ng kautusan ang gobyerno na isara ang mga sementeryo at columbariums sa darating na Undas upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng virus sa publiko.

Tulad ng mga nagdaang taon, inihayag ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Gen. Camilo Cascolan na ipatutupad pa rin ang Oplan Kaluluwa sa kabila ng pagluwag ng ilang restriksyon upang masiguro na nasusunod ang itinalagang health protocols.

Ayon pa kay Gen. Cascolan, magtatalaga sila ng help desks sa mga highway at magsasagawa ng patrolya sa mga lugar na madalas magkaroon ng krimen. Kaagapay umano nila rito ang mga opisyal ng barangay gayundin ang mga peace-keeping team upang masiguro na sapat ang pwersa ng kapulisan sa mga araw na ito.

“All regional directors and police directors will be inspecting and monitoring all activities. Daily activities starting today shall be consolidated to the PNP command center and directors of operations,” ani Gen. Cascolan.

Itinalaga ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases ang 30 porsyentong maximum capacity sa mga sementeryo at memorial parks simula noong Setyembre 17 hanggang sa Nobyembre 15.
