P1.7-M SHABU NASABAT SA ZAMBO DRUG SUSPEK

Nakuha sa isang drug suspect ang PhP1.7-milyong tinatayang halaga ng shabu sa isang police operation sa Zamboanga City noong Pebrero 28.

Nakumpiska mula sa suspek na si Almutlah Maharan alias “Mutla”, 39, residente ng Brgy. Mariki, Zamboanga City, ng Special Drugs Enforcement Team-Zamboanga City PS-11 ang limang malalaking sachets ng pinaghihinalaang shabu na may bigat na 250 gramo.

“Our focus is to further intensify the campaign against illegal drugs and to enhance the effectiveness of anti-drug operations in breaking the backbone of the illegal drug trade, particularly high value targets and wholesalers,” pahayag ni PNP Chief Police General Debold M. Sinas.

Nasa kustodiya na ang suspek ng Zamboanga CPS para masampahan ng kaso.
