Dalawang “key players” ng drug distribution network sa Northern Manila ang arestado ng Valenzuela City Police Station sa isang drug buy-bust ng Disyembre 10 sa Brgy. Ugong, Valenzuela City.
Huli si Ernesto Francisco at Genelyn Mararac sa anti-illegal drugs operation ng mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit. Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang 1.5 kilong crystal meth o shabu sa vacuum-sealed plastic sachets na tinatayang nagkakahalagang PhP 10.2-milyon.
Nakuha rin sa mga suspek ang cash bills, digital weighing scale, mobile phones, wristwatches, at ilang alahas.
Ibibigay sa Northern Police District’s Crime Laboratory ang mga iligal na droga para sa chemical analysis samantalang sasailalim sa inventory ang iba pang items na nakuha sa mga suspek.
