P7.5B AYUDA SA MGA APEKTADO NG ECQ SA NCR PLUS, NAIPAMAHAGI NA NG GOBYERNO

Nasa Php7.5 bilyon na mula sa kabuuang Php23 bilyon ang naipamahagi ng ayuda ng pamahalaan sa mga benepisyaryong apektado ng Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) sa NCR Plus mula Marso 29 hanggang Abril 11.

Ayon sa ulat na inilabas ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) kahapon, Abril 19, mahigit pitong milyong benepisyaryo na sa Metro Manila at karatig probinsya nito ang nakatanggap ng ayuda noong Abril 18.

Siniguro ni DILG Spokesperson at Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya na ang distribusyon ng ayuda para sa 22.9 milyong benepisyaryo ay magpapatuloy sa kabila ng pagkakalagay ng NCR Plus sa mas maluwag na MECQ.

“Though more people are now back to work, the ‘ayuda’ (assistance) is a commitment of the government and will continue to be distributed despite the change in quarantine classification,” saad ni Malaya.

Sa isang briefing kahapon, inamin ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque ang mabagal na distribusyon ng ayuda sa mga pamilyang nakatira sa mga lugar na sakop ng NCR Plus at nangakong mas pagbubutihin pa ng pamahalaan ang pamamahagi nito. Humingi rin ng paumanhin ang kalihim sa mabagal na distribusyon ng nasabing ayuda. 

“Humihingi po tayo ng paumanhin dahil talagang medyo may kabagalan. Sa panahon po kasi ng pandemya, hindi natin maiiwasan na talagang mag-ingat,” dagdag niya.
