“In-extend ang deadline na makumpleto ang pamamahagi ng financial assistance hanggang ika-15 ng Mayo 2021.”

Ito ang ipinahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque kaugnay sa pagpapahintulot ng Malacañang na palawigin ang deadline ng pamimigay ng tulong-pinansyal sa mga apektado ng nagdaang enhanced community quarantine sa Greater Manila Area (Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal) mula Marso 29 hanggang Abril 11, 2021. 

Kabilang sa binanggit ng tagapagsalita ng Pangulo na dahilan ng pagpapalawig sa deadline ng pamimigay ng nasabing ayuda ay ang pagbabawal sa pagkukumpulan ng maraming tao sa gitna ng pandemya upang mapanatili ang kaligtasan ng mga mamamayan; mga pagbabagong isinasagawa upang mas maging maayos ang pamamahagi ng naturang ayuda; at iba pang mga apila mula sa mga lokal na pamahalaan.

Dati nang binigyan ng hanggang 15 na araw ang mga alkalde ng naturang mga apektadong lugar upang makumpleto ang pamamahagi ng cash assistance sa kanilang mga nasasakupan.
