PANGALAWANG DOSE NG SINOVAC VACCINE PARA SA NCR, MAY ‘GO SIGNAL’ NA NG DOH

Pinahintulutan na ng Department of Health ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa Metro Manila na ipagpatuloy ang pagtuturok ng Sinovac vaccines kontra Coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19 sa mga residente nito.

Nauna nang inilaan ang naturang suplay ng bakuna bilang pangalawang dose na ibibigay sana sa mga indibidwal na nakatanggap na ng paunang dose nito.

Sinabi ni Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire noong Biyernes, Abril 30, 2021 na maaari nang gamitin ng local government units (LGUs) ng Metro Manila ang nasabing alokasyon habang inaantay pa ang pagdating ng mga panibagong suplay ng Sinovac vaccines sa bansa. Ito ay upang tuluy-tuloy na maisagawa ang pagbabakuna sa lugar.

“Nagtanong sila kung maaaring gamitin hanggang hinihintay ang parating na doses. Ito ay nabigyan ng approval,” pahayag ni Usec. Vergeire.

Tiniyak din ni Vergeire na matatanggap ng naturang LGUs ang mga bakuna sa lalong madaling panahon dahil nagsimula na aniya ang distribusyon ng isang milyong doses ng Sinovac vaccines na dumating sa bansa nitong nakaraang dalawang linggo.
