PANGUNAHING SUSPEK SA MURDER NG 4 NEGROS PULIS, NAKIPAGBARILAN, PATAY

Patay ang pangunahing suspek sa kasong murder ng apat na police officers sa Negros Oriental nitong Pebrero 18 bandang 7:00 a.m. sa Gen. Kalentong Daang Bakal, Mandaluyong City matapos makipagbarilan sa mga pulis.

Nakilala ang nasawi na si Ryan Sandag Manguilimutan, na kilala sa underground bilang “James” at “Ka Ignacio”, at kabilang diumano sa grupo ng mga rebelde sa Northern Negros Front noong 2013. Nalipat si Ka Ignacio sa  Regional Strike Force noong 2016 at naging regular na miyembro ng CN3 noong Enero 2018.

Sangkot diumano si Ka Ignacio sa karumal-dumal na ambush sa apat na Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 personnel sa Brgy. Mabato Ayungon, Negros Oriental noong June 18, 2019, kasama ang anim na miyembro ng rebel group at supporters ng guerilla community.

Nakipagbarilan diumano si Ka Ignacio sa arresting officers ng PNP Special Action Force (lead unit), PNP Intelligence Group, CIDG, NCRPO, at Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office na kanyang ikinasawi.

Subject ng warrant of arrest ang suspek na inisyu ni Hon. Rosario S. Carriaga, Presiding Judge, RTC Br. 75 ng Bais City dahil sa mga kasong murder, pagnanakaw, at paglabag sa Sec. 4(c)(8) at Sec. 7 ng RA 9851 (International Humanitarian Law).

Nakuha mula sa suspek ang 3 magazines na may ammos, 39 ammos ng 9mm, 4 na empty shells ng 9mm, at isang Canik pistol na diumano’y pagmamay-ari ng isa sa mga napatay na Negros police officers.
