Parlade: Ideyolohiya ng CPP-NPA, hindi maka-Diyos

LUNGSOD NG QUEZON — Sa paggunita ng International Day of Victims of Terrorism, sinabi ni Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Southern Luzon Command Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade, Jr. na nararapat lamang balikan sa kasaysayan ng bansa ang karumal-dumal na paghahasik ng terorismo ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) na ang ideyolohiya ay hindi maka-Diyos ni makatao.

Sa ginawang Zoom conference ng UP UP PILIPINAS, sinabi ng AFP Southern Luzon Commander na kinakailangang balikan ang mga nakasusuklam na mga pagpatay ng CPP-NPA kahit pa sa mga sariling miyembro nito upang maalala ng taumbayan kung bakit tinawag na terorista ang grupo.

“Simulan natin sa Inopacan, Leyte massacre, iyong mga missing link na iyan, iyong Oplan Ahos, iyong Oplan Kadena de Amor–napakadami niyan. Libu-libo ang namatay na mga kasamahan nila. Hindi na natin pinag-uusapan iyong mga biktima nila na ordinaryong mga mamamayan kundi iyong mga kanilang kasamahan sa organisasyon, iyong mga pinagpapatay nila, around 6,000-7,000 of them, na pinaghinalaan nila na mga espiya ng gobyerno, pinagpapatay nila noong dekada ‘80 at tsaka ‘90,” pahayag ni Lt. Gen. Parlade.

Ayon sa komander, napakatindi ng propaganda machinery ng rebeldeng grupo dahil nagagawa pa ng mga itong kumbinsihin ang ilan na tama lang kitilin ang buhay ng kanilang mga kasamahan. “Kinakailangang maintindihan natin na hindi pupwedeng pagsamahin itong ideyolohiya na ito at tsaka iyong ating pananampalataya sa Diyos. Tayo majority ay Kristiyano, hindi natin maisip-isip bakit ito, mga komunista, pinapatay iyong kanilang mga [miyembro], and yet, nakakakuha sila ng mga kakampi nila sa simbahan,” pagbubunyag ng Lieutenant General.

Hinikayat naman ni Presidential Communications Operations Office Undersecretary Lorraine Badoy ang lahat na manindigan at huwag matakot na ibunyag ang karahasan ng CPP-NPA upang tapusin na ang 52 taon na paghaharian ng terorismo sa bansa. “You have the whole of government behind you, you have the whole of nation that’s coming in, and it’s about time na tapusin na natin ito. It’s a moral obligation to step in and speak out for those who don’t have any voices, and this is the time to speak up. Ang nakasalalay dito ang bansa natin,” pahayag ng Undersecretary.
