Nagsimulang mamahagi ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Pasay ng pinansyal na tulong sa mga estudyante ng mga pampublikong paaralan kahapon, Mayo 19.

Ayon kay Pasay Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, nasa 7,361 na elementary at high school students ang makikinabang at matutulungan ng Php3,000 na cash assistance. 

Saklaw ng cash aid ang Php1,000 na buwanang allowance ng mga estudyante mula Oktubre hanggang Disyembre ng school year 2020-2021. 

Ang distribusyon ng nasabing cash assistance ay magpapatuloy hanggang Mayo 22 sa ilang pampublikong paaralan sa lungsod. 

Tanging ang mga magulang o tagapag-alaga lamang ng mga estudyante ang maaaring tumanggap sa cash aid. 

“Kaya naman po inaanyahan ko kayong lahat na ihanda at isumite na ninyo ang kailangang mga papeles upang sa ganoon ay makuha na ninyo ang inyong financial assistance,” saad ni Rubiano sa kaniyang Facebook live video.

Dagdag pa ng alkalde, namimigay rin ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Pasay ng Php1,000 cash allowance sa mga mahihirap at karapat-dapat na estudyante sa kolehiyo.
