PHP45 MILYONG HALAGA NG PEKENG LARUAN AT IBA PANG PRODUKTO, NAKUMPISKA NG BOC SA BULACAN

Nasamsam ng mga opisyal ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang mga pekeng laruan at iba pang produkto na nagkakahalaga ng nasa tinatayang Php45 milyon sa isang warehouse sa Bulacan.

Ayon sa pahayag ng ahensiya, kinumpiska ng mga personnel ng Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS) ng Manila International Container Port (MICP) ang mga nasabing produkto sa Guiguinto, Bulacan noong Pebrero 9. Bukod sa mga pekeng laruan, nadiskubre din sa inspeksyon ang mga helmet, bakal, resin, at iba pa. 

Lumalabas umano sa kanilang paunang imbestigasyon na nanggaling ang shipment mula sa China.

Ayon pa sa ahensiya, magkakaroon ng karagdagang pagsisiyasat para sa posibleng paghahain ng kaso dahil sa paglabag sa Section 1400 ng RA 10863 o kilala bilang Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) at Intellectual Property Laws. 

Ang nasabing operasyon ay naisagawa ng ahensiya sa pakikipagtulungan nito sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
