Php6.8M na halaga ng shabu nakumpiska ng Customs sa isang air fryer

Nakumpiska ng Bureau of Customs-Clark ang dalawang pack ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng nasa tinatayang Php6.8 milyon na itinago sa loob ng isang air fryer mula sa Sha Alam, Malaysia. 

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni District Collector Ruby Alameda na ang kargamento ay dumating noong Pebrero 16 at idineklara bilang “air fryer, silkware.”

Sumailim ito sa physical examination at X-ray kung saan lumabas sa resulta ang mga imahe ng organic substances sa loob ng takip ng air fryer. 

Isang examiner mula sa Customs ang nagbukas sa air fryer at natuklasan ang shabu na may bigat na 1,000 grams. 

Naglabas na ng warrant of seizure at detention si Alameda laban sa consignee dahil sa paglabag sa Republic Act 10863 o Customs Modernization and Tariff Act at EQ 9165 o kilala bilang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. 

Nagsagawa ang mga operatiba ng controlled delivery operation na nagbigay-daan sa pagkakaaresto ng suspek sa Cebu City.
